Fuel Surcharges
Unfortunately, due to the ever increasing fuel prices, JB Wheaton & Sons Ltd have found it necessary to implement a fuel surcharge on all Transport and Pallet invoices from the 9th of June, 2008.
The surcharge is calculated using the fuel price of 85 pence per litre (ex VAT) as the base figure i.e. 0% surcharge. This was the cost of fuel in October 2007 and we have held off until June 2008 before implementing a surcharge. The surcharge is variable and listed below. We will review our fuel prices on a fortnightly basis and these will be available on this website page.
Current fuel price is 97p per litre, therefore a
3.4% surcharge
will apply on all invoices. This surcharge applies to the period 25th July 2010 to 7th August 2010 inclusive - please visit this page again to find out the surcharge for the period after this.
