Fuel Surcharges
Unfortunately, due to the ever increasing fuel prices, JB Wheaton & Sons Ltd have found it necessary to implement a fuel surcharge on all Transport and Pallet invoices from the 9th of June, 2008.
The surcharge is calculated using the fuel price of 85 pence per litre (ex VAT) as the base figure i.e. 0% surcharge. This was the cost of fuel in October 2007 and we have held off until June 2008 before implementing a surcharge. The surcharge is variable and listed below. We will review our fuel prices on a fortnightly basis and these will be available on this website page.
Current fuel price is 88.0p per litre, therefore a 0.9% surcharge will apply on all invoices for the fortnight from November 10th to 23rd of November 2008.
